The next quarterly meeting of the Prison Community Partnership Committee for the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) will be in Torrington on Wednesday, August 12, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Eastern Wyoming College, Tebbett 131. As always, the public is encouraged to attend.

Items on the agenda include an update on construction, hiring and training; discussion of how local businesses can get on the state vendor list and WDOC centralized purchasing; update on the Torrington welcoming effort for new WDOC staff members and their families; and Rick Patterson's update on his sabbatical with the Wyoming Department of Corrections. There will also be discussion about upcoming tours of the site and open house events.
